Customizing the personal profile

There are several possibilities to customize your account. The settings Academic title, First name, Last name, Email, Company/Org, Language and Password are workspace independent, this means that if you are registered in more than one workspace with your email address, these settings will be the same in each workspace. The settings Edition, Groups, Display Top Tips and Subscriptions, however, are valid only in the current workspace and can differ in another, they are workspace dependent.

  • Click Setup, then My Profile in the top drop-down menu of the Signavio Explorer.

Workspace independent settings

Academic title, First name & Last name

These three fields make up your ID. It shows up everywhere you leave a mark or communicate with a colleague, like in diagram version histories in the activity feed or when you invite someone to collaborate.

Hint

The academic title will be put in front of your name. If you would like your title to be displayed after your name, you should put it behind your last name in the field Last name.

Email & Company/Org

  • The email section displays the e-mail address you are licensed with at Signavio, it cannot be changed. You will get notifications from the Signavio software onto this address if you have subscriptions.
  • In the field Company/Org., you can put the name of your organization.

Language

Here, you can change the language your personal profile is displayed in. Read more about supported languages at Supported Languages.

Password

Here, you can change your password. Simply type the new password in the corresponding field, then again in the field below and click Save. The password requirements can be set by the administrator, read more at Defining password policies.

Edition

This entry tells you what Signavio licenses you are registered for. If you need additional licenses, please contact your administrator.

Groups

The user groups you are a member of are listed here. Admins can add and delete users to user groups as explained at Managing user groups.

Subscriptions

Here, all your subscriptions are listed. You can delete those that are no longer needed by clicking Remove.

By default, new users subscribe to weekly email updates about changes to the content of the Shared Documents folder.
